Well, I’m finally posting. Yes, it is much more difficult to post on a daily basis than I had first believed. I thought I could write little tidbits in every day, but eventually I feel as though I’d be reduced to writing something as meager as “I brushed my teeth today. Mint toothpaste is quite tasty.” I decided to spare you all the mediocrity of posts such as that.
Another reason for not posting is this:I have simply felt unmotivated. I’ve been unusually tired in the evenings, which is normally about the time I choose to write my blogs. I used to go to bed at two in the morning. Now I find myself half asleep by eleven. Long, dreary days, the boredom only broken by an outing with Frozen or another friend, do not make for good posts. I apologize for lack of anything useful to say lately.
I’m happy I got the last two books I needed in the Dragonlance:War of Souls series because I was beginning to think I would never read them. Fortunately I got them from a relative for Christmas. I’ve already completed one and I started the other today and I’m already almost halfway done. Crazy, because the book is 610 pages long. I read fast once I get into a book. I recommend everyone to read Dragonlance, starting at the book “The Soulforge” and reading on into Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, Dragons of Spring Dawning, Test of the Twins, Time of the Twins, and the War of the Twins, then Dragons of Summer Flame, then the Fifth Age series comprised of the Dawning of a New Age, The Day of the Tempest, and The Eve of the Maelstrom. Finally you get to where I have been stuck, Dragons of a Fallen Sun. The last two are Dragons of a Lost Star and Dragons of a Vanished Moon, which I’m reading right now.
These books are not childish fairy tales, no matter how many times it says “dragon” in the title. Dragons and magic aren’t just for little kids. There can be some fascinating and epic tales for adults too. I love this book series. The best part is most of the early books are cheap because they were written in the eighties. The more recent ones, like the War of Souls books, may be a bit more costly.
I saw the Trans-Siberian Orchestra play on the thirtieth of December. It was amazing. I love guitar, and combining some very talented guitarists with an orchestra is even more awesome.
It appears you have lost your reader base. Those long weeks of inactivity (same to me im sure) made everyone stop visiting! Get back into it man, do it strong.
